Whats goin on guys, recently for my turbo build i got thees Genuine Bosch EV14 52lb/550cc fuel injectors 0280158117. Come to find out i need spacers for the factory fuel rail setup.
Now i am aeb 058 block and all i wanted to ask since no one else has the sizes required for the spacers needed. Thees are the 48.5mm o-ring to o-ring length.
Or is there a way to cut the rail brackets and modify something to hold her down? thanks!

Same thing I linked. You don't need to space the rail out. You need to space the injectors out.

Lol my bad seerlah yes thats exactly what i need, the link you sent seemed like they would've been better cause they have the slits for the oem clips to hold the injector dwn but oh well thanks again!

USRT is the "go to" place for fueling needs. Been around for years. If you ever have a fueling issue or need an adapter of some sort, they most likely have an answer. You can also call them up for technical questions.

One question is thier a specific way to install the injectors spacers?

I got spacers and adapters for my 550cc's but they seemed to go in great without them. I wanted the injector tips to be in the air flow path so I left them like that. I am running rich under WOT, could this be why?

what tune/turbo are you running?
you may just need to dial the fuel pressure back a bit.

Do you have injector unspacers or fuel rail spacers? The unspacers you just push the injector into it and attach the clip. Then push that whole assembly into the rail and attach the clip. Then push the whole thing into the manifold.

@ray4624 I'm running a frankenturbo F21L with eurodyne and the stock fuel pressure regulator, I'm not sure if my base file does anything for the increased fuel pressure under boost for that regulator, I might just unhook the vaccum line to it so I'm not changing pressure because the idle is about spot on for fueling. (Or I could take the time to properly adjust fueling for the pressure change) AFAIK the regulator sits at 3.5 bar idle then goes up to 4 bar under boost but it might be 3 to 4 bar or 3 to 3.5 bar, I haven't stuck a gauge on it, it's an AWM/06B tiptronic.

@Believer I have fuel rail spacers w/longer bolts and injector spacers, the spacers go on the outlet side of the injectors. I just used the rail spacers on the top of the fuel rail to make the new bolts snug the fuel rail down all the way and left the injector spacers off.

Woah DO NOT disconnect the vac line. What are you considering rich at wot? You are supposed to be richer at wot then idle/cruise. I run my car just a bit over 11 afr at wot. It cruises at 14.7

by rich I'm talking <10.5, 0.70ish lambda. It's not the injector constant so I'm pretty sure my tune was set up for a fixed fpr. ecu says it's asking for 0.83

Edit: at WOT

I'll find a 3 bar regulator.. Did not intend to jack the thread, still curious if those injectors are okay installed like that though

This is what they look like in there

I just realized they aren't even pushed in the fuel rail all the way. I think ECS ships those injectors with different o-rings installed because they were quite difficult to push in there in the first place[poop]

With petroleum jelly they install very easily.
