I will be pulling the 3.2 engine in the next day or so. I've scoured the internet looking for a guide or a DIY and have come up empty handed. I'm pretty comfortable pulling the engine but am just looking for tips or tricks to make the process easier and also looking for certain things to watch out for. Here's the process that I have so far:

Pull front bumper, headlights, radiator/brace.
Unbolt mounts, exhaust, pull/disconnect wiring harness.
Unbolt bell housing.

Use cherry picker to take motor out of the front of the vehicle.

Any major steps i'm missing?

I would pull the transmission with the engine. It will be a lot easier to mate them back together and it's easier to unbolt the axel over the bell housing bolts (while the engine is in the car)

I agree. And it that case, it may be easier to drop the whole motor and tranny out the bottom. No need for a cherry picker either, but you'll have to jack the car up off the motor/tranny after unbolting it all.
