Just an FYI for those doing their own changes between the Audi oil change intervals, ie. those who are chipped or routinely drive in stop and go traffic.

Almost looks like what the 24v VR6 uses but that looks like it's going to be even more messy. How much does that filter go for?

Yeah, it's the same design as the VR6 engine but a bit thinner and a bit taller. Runs about $14 from ECS Tuning, but I'm sure it can be found for a couple bucks less.
