Oh, it's on... Thanks to APR and their Oktoberfest Specials, I'm going to 2Bennett this Friday to get my 91 and stock flash. I can't wait, I'm soo hyped! [drive]

Gawd damn it! Maybe it's a sign I shouldn't get APR software. Ken at 2B tried to upload the software but there was no communication with APR's server, Ken's laptop and my ECU. He said the the ECU could not be found. [headbang] I'm able to VAG my car so, I don't know what the deal is... [confused] Maybe I should wait for Revo or GIAC. [:(] Has anybody heard of this problem before?

Man, that sucks. I'm personally going to wait awhile before chipping; just want to see if any issues btw the different manufacturers arise. I like what APRs doing, but my bro's got a Dahlback in his B6 that he raves about (he also told me that APR had some 'issues' with early B6 chips)
In anycase, there was a reference to a similar flashing problem with another guy on this thread (http://forums.fourtitude.com/zerothread?id=2148353) on Fourtitude. Hope you get it resolved [up]

Dang, I'm no where as mad as that dude that waited 4 hours. I think Ken was more fusterated and confused of why it wasn't uploading than me being dissapointed of not being able to take that test drive home. I don't blame anybody since stuff always happens with computers and electronics these days and Ken said he'd call me on Monday to let me know what he finds out from APR. I just have to find the time to drive out there again. I guess I'll be waiting another week. [:(]

hmm .. it happened to me when i flashed it at waterfest .. it had a couple of connection error .. but APR solved it and im running the software now.. but then .. i still have the speed limiter.. and im pretty sure that im on APR software *because the car is launching harder from the increased torque...*
i need to get the ecms program since i get it for free..

hehehe.. i just dont have the time .. i live in philly and i have to drive up to Lebanon or down to Baltimore .. 2 hour drive .. unless i floor it all the time .. *but then i am risking points or jail time .. LOL yea i go that fast when im crazy enough to do it...

Finally got a call back from 2B today and it looks like they have an updated file for the 2.0T. So, I'm scheduled to go back to the shop on Friday to try and flash the ECU again. We'll see what happens this time. [coss_fingers] [:o]

Good luck with that. I am interested to see some opinions on the software in real world driving conditions.
By the way. I grew up in Sacramento, where is 2B? I just went back up there after being gone for a year and that place has grown so much, it's not even funny!

Oh shiz, a Sactown local. What up, what up? What area of Sac are you from? 2Bennett is off of Richards Blvd. in Davis. They have some pretty cool Audi's there.

Yea, I used to live in Antelope area, then lived in Folsom for a while. Now I am down in SoCal. Damn, Davis huh. For a small city (compared to LA), Sacramento and the areas around it have a lot of modified cars/trucks. You know it's bad when Sunrise blvd. has to make every stop light into a stop sign so people don't race and "cruise." Haha.
But yeah, can't wait to hear how it goes on Friday.
