I pulled my turbo and am probably about to have it shipped it off to be looked at and possibly repaired if needed. While my car is taken apart for a week or so, is there anything I should do maintenance wise while its apart and jacked up in the air for a while? Would hate to have to repair something next week that is easily accessible now. Thanks!

Check for shaft play. Check the flapper on the wastegate and also check the waste gate rod for proper adjustment. Closely inspect oil/water lines to/from turbo

Yes, all of this was done as soon as i pulled the turbo but I'm referring to maintenance not related to the turbo that might be easier to do since the turbo and many other things are out of the way. Thank you for the reply though.

Maybe since you've already go the bolts removed for the cat. Install a test pipe or hfc?

I would if I were keeping it but I'm doing as much maintenance related things as I can and then giving it to my girlfriend as soon as I find a new car for myself, just trying to get everything right so she doesn't end up broken down because of something I forgot to replace. Being pregnant(and a woman[;)]), she needs something reliable lol. A month ago I definitely would have threw a test pipe on it!
