I had the ECS Tuning RS6 (non-OEM) mesh grille on my S6. It needs to be replaced and I'm debating ordering the OEM Audi RS6 grille instead of replacing it with ECS Tuning's product. The reason being that I always thought the plastic material in the ECS honeycomb grille was very glossy and didn't really match the rest of the front end. The plastic was a bit flimsy as well, it readily flexed/bowed with pressure. I'm wondering if anyone with the OEM RS6 grille can comment on if it is also very glossy black (or if other ECS Tuning grille owners can chime in).

OEM RS6 grille is also very glossy and very flimsy/flexi. Just got hold of a genuine one and noticed the same thing

I have the ECS Tuning RS6 Grille and mine is really shiny. I wouldn't say it looks dull or cheap in any way. The ECS Tuning grille better quality than my old ebay RS6 grille for sure. I'm one that would pick genuine OEM parts over aftermarket ANY DAY, but the cost difference between the ECS and OEM is huge.

Not sure how they justify the extortionate cost of the original grille crica £850 for some plastic !!

You can actually find them way way cheaper on eBay. I received mine and had it installed at the dealership. Took about 15 minutes and fits amazing. Mine was around $490.

The ECS Tuning version is $320 w/ free shipping.
