Audi Connect issues on 2016 S6

I just got my S6 but am having issues with Audi connect. When I go to Audi connect the weather and news etc work.

However when I go to google vicinity search I always get "service is currently unavailable"

When I do a look up addresses I sent via the MMI app on the S6 I get "data connection could not be established"

I have the SIM in and 5 bars of LTE showing. I've tried taking out the SIM and reinserting but that hasn't helped. I've also tried an MMI reset.

Anyone else have advice on how to resolve?

Yes. It works for things like weather but not google nav search or other things mentioned above

Go to telephone>settings>data connection. Make sure that data roaming is clicked. Also, above that, make sure that audi connect is enabled without asking.

Make sure weather is it pulling through Sirius radio. I heard some systems use that instead of data.

Yup it's enabled without asking and roaming is checked.

Does your google maps work? Or does it say requires connection?

The maps actually works - just not the search

3 days in and the S6 is with the dealer for an overnighter... They can't figure it out... Sigh... Did get an A8L loaner though
