Hello,
This is my first time posting on here, but I am familiar with the forum. I did plenty of searching to figure it out but have not came up with any results. I have a 2008 b7 s-line 2.0t auto, quattro pictured below. when i drive back from campus (30 minutes away) and park my car, there is a ticking noise, but almost like a sucking noise too. It is not coming from the exhaust, but i believe it has something to do with the evap system. I have recently replaced my fuel filter within the past 5k miles and the n75 valve in the past 2k miles. when driving, i am often confronted with a message reading "Close Fuel Tank Cap", and the last two times i filled up my tank it would stop the gas gun at the pump after so much gas had gone in. I probably needed to unclick and reclick the lever around 30 times to completely fill up my tank. During my search i learned that the gas gun at the pump stops when pressure builds up, and i can audibly hear air trying to rush out, so at that point i would take the nozzle out of the tank and let it depressurize.
Anyways, i do have a vag-com. I have not seen anything pertaining towards this, but I do not know if there are any measuring blocks that i can open up to further my search.
Thank you in advanced,
Kyle
