So my brother has a 2001 hibiscus red 2.8l 5 speed sport package cloth, NO RUST under coated twice a year by pervious owner. My brother is the second owner of it, the car was mint only problem was the pixels were just starting to go, he hit a concrete colvort doing over 130km and deployed all the air bags but the passenger side curtain ( both front seat bags steering wheel and passenger dash and three seat belt tensioner) smashed the oil pan broke lower control arm broke three rims smashed rad and all the front but the body is good still it is 100 percent up to date on maitence and wat nots has unitronic stage 1 tune needed nothing for safety or etest insurance says it's only worth 2 grand. We fell like its a insult and we're trying to find it's real value

Is it fixed or wrecked still?

These cars don't hold a great deal of value any more sadly mate. Depending on where you're located (either Canada or aus if you talk in km/h) the value will be slightly different. Mine is only valued at 3k for insurance even though Ive spent twice that and more on keeping it looking factory fresh.

I'd try for 4k, I just sold my wifes 99 prefacelift 2.8 auto quattro for $3500 this past march with a valid safety with 242k kms on it and that car was mint and up to date on maintenance.
