I am always looking for the best paint sealant for winter protection for my vehicles.
This weekend I put a coat of Dr Beasley's Plasma Coat Paint Sealant on my 2016 S6. This is a apply and rub off product. Don't wait to long for a small section. It bonds almost immediately. I used an orbital, red foam pad to apply. It went on quickly and came off easily, especially if I didn't wait to long to remove. We will see how it performs this winter. The pictures I took do not do the car justice. The car looks amazing.
Today I just received a bottle of Chemical Guys Jet Seal Paint Sealant. This is going on my wifes SUV this weekend. It has also received rave reviews and has a bit of a cult following.
In the past I have used Wolfgang products and have always really liked them. As these paint sealants get better and better their shine is starting to rival that of a high quality carnauba wax.
Anything thoughts on these products or any others you guys have used?
Thank you.

I actually just purchased dr beasleys, hope to get it on soon! In the past I have been very impressed with menzerna power lock, super easy to apply and has good protection, lasts quite a while!

I've been using Dr. Beasley's matte paint sealant for a year-and-a-half and it's been excellent.

I've been very happy with it, now reconsidering if the beasleys is worth a try or stick with the tried and true powerlock.

I actually picked up this stuff "Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax 845" because they use it at the dealership and Ive never seen cars look more wet when dry in my life. Super deep shine. Apparently this stuff gets amazing reviews and nobody knows about it. Well, people obviously know about it otherwise there wouldnt be any reviews...

I've actually used this stuff for quite a while before powerlock came along. I've found that the collonite is long lasting but IMO didn't have the slickness of powerlock. I will say that the collonite is a good solid product and neither the powerlock or the collonite are very expensive.
I think this conversation just made me want to powerlock my car for the winter, maybe I'll try out dr. Beasleys in the spring.

I just had my 2014 S6 completely paint corrected and coated (paint and calipers) with cquartz finest. Also had the glass coated with cquartz forte. Honestly, I've never seen a white so glossy. Now dirt, bird bombs, pollen and etc all just slides off the car effortlessly when cleaning, and everything looks better than new. Having all the wheels refurbished and also coated in cquartz and my new dunlop wintersport 3d's mounted tomorrow afternoon!
And to think I bought this thing two weeks ago [wrench]

I applied Beasley's nanoresin. Super easy, and great shine/durability. I have some plasma coat that I'm planning on layering on top.

Siramik SC15 if you are up for shipping it from Europe or the next best thing is Gtechnic C1 with EXO V2. Either of them 2 systems can't be beat.

What did you pay for all that work?

The detail, paint correction, and cquartz on the car was about 1k total. The cquartz on the wheels / calipers was 350. Also had him professionally repair quite a few rock chips on the front which was about 125 or so. The wheel refinish for all four will be about 375.
Not for the budget oriented, but also no corners were cut (i.e., all badges were removed prior to correction and cquartz placed under the badges, etc).

Just curious... why did you go with the cquartz as apposed to Opticoat Pro Plus etc.?

I've been using for years Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant and it has the most lasting period in heavy winters
Also now i've found the SONAX XTREME Protect+Shine Hybrid NPT and it has 1 week on the car. Still waiting for the real dirt to appear [:)]

They're all pretty similar at the end of the day and the detailer I trust happens to be a carpro UK authorized installer. Plus, many online reviews showed cquartz to offer slightly greater gloss and a much smoother feel to the finish (which were important to me, but unfortunately it is also slightly less durable than some other coatings).

Have ceramic pro 9H on the RS7 and the truck, very happy with it. Went mudding and then power washed everything off the truck no water spots nothing. I still miss waxing my car though :/ #firstworldproblems
