It's super cool - but the auto-choker is not working.
Any ideas where I can find another one?
The part no. is 052 129 195 A and in German it is described as "Deckel mit Feder und Heiz-spirale fuer Vergaser"
Any help would be great. Thx.

Usually the electric heater coil (the spring inside the ceramic body) breaks and the bi-metallic clock spring never gets hot and opens the choke. See the picture. That Audi part you need is most likely NLA.
Is your choke heated with coolant from the engine? If it is electric then you can repair it or source a VW carb part..
part. If the choke is worked by engine coolant..the bi-metallic clock spring inside may be shot..and a clock spring part from VW may work.
I have a bi-metallic clock spring I can send you..no charge.
The Solex electric choke heater for VW is available..about $20 on the Bay in the USA.http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Volt-Solex-Choke-Element-Fits-VW-Bug-1967-1974-CPR113129191G-BU-/191241829539?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

If yours has the coolant choke..here is a Solex off the Bay with the ckoke body..it might work for you.
