Might also look for an 05 allroad in wrecking yards near you. They are setup similar to an rs4.

Lol sadley they discontinued the bipipe. Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to look into that.

Allroad 2005 bipipe diff than a6 2.7t 2005 or 2004

These can be tough to find, but a nice, oem option. Looked like later (05?) allroads.
Need to snag the bipipes/couplers and maybe the tbody also.

In all of the searching I've done on that allroad boot I have never come up with a definitive answer to the throttle body question: is it necessary?

Ive not had one apart to look it so not sure either.
If I had to guess, Id say it was a minor difference. Maybe doesnt have the groove that our tbb locks into?
