halloween in salem, ma

Hey peeps, so i might be coming down to MA for the week of october 25- november 2. Ill be specifically going mostly for halloween as i wanna get out and do something different. Ill be driving my audi b8 a4 from socal with my girl, so if any of you guys are able to hang let me know. Other than that, what do you guys recommend to do up there?

I also agree Salem is a ss the whole month, but if you've never been up that way it's a great place. Lots of history and great costal towns like Marblehead, Rockport, Gloucester, Newburyport just to name a few. Nothing's very far away. If you're going to Boston ditch the car outside the city and walk or take the t.

I moved here from socal as well. I miss those super car sunday meets out there. I will be in Salem for Halloween as well. I'll bring some beers for you and the girl if you'd like and we can hang

If you want a nice scenic ride take Rt. 127 from Beverly to Rockport. It goes by the coast and fall colors will bring bonus points. There was a group of VW and Audi guys meeting every Tuesday at Willows in Salem. Another group meet every Thursday at Woburn mall.

The meet in woburn is heavily vw, but a good crowd. The obnoxious Halloween stuff is in salem, they shut down the city and you wonder around in costume and do the tours and such. I go every year. I'll be the big fuck dressed as twisty

Thanks for the tips guys. I went to Salem a few years ago, will never go back. Complete farce. Also, as an offshoot question, with wifey being from the area and not really adjusting to my NYC lifestyle a move to the "dead zone" for us NYers might just happen. How's Audi life out there? Good cruising meets? I would think a big group of us getting onto those big open highways would be a great time all the way up to NH or something.

There is the Kancamagnus HWY thats fun to drive, and looks beautiful in the fall. cut up bear notch rd for some nice twisty roads also. Organize it and they will come
