Hi All,

I am admittedly fairly new here, but have had my 2004 A4 1.8T for 5 years now, previously owned by my wifes grandfather. I've been poking around the forums now and then when I need information, but only recently started posting. Apologies in advance if this is obvious, has been posted before, or is deserving of any other noob backlash. [rolleyes]

My father also has a 2003 A4 3.0L Quattro, and is the original owner. We're looking for some assistance troubleshooting error codes found after the Check Engine Light appeared, and hesitation was noticed upon shifting and normal driving.

Below is a bit of a VAGCOM scan showing the 4 fault codes. No other fault codes are present on the car.
We were suspecting bad fuel, or bad coils, however the tank has been run down to half and then filled up again, but still the problem persists.

The car is not driven much at all as he is retired and has another brand new Mazda which tends to get more of the daily grocery-getter duties.
Timing belt and other maintenance were completed last fall.

Any ideas or direction would be appreciated.

It's an issue with just the driver's side bank. Have you checked the plugs, coils, injectors, and wiring for that bank? Any noises from the rear seat? Could be that there isn't enough fuel getting to the cylinders.
