Stupid CV Boot

Ok, I've now purchased 2 different CV boots from two good suppliers. I've utilized Etka, genuine audi and ecs to double check my part number. But for some reason both boots are 2 big. I don't understand, I'm even purchasing OEM parts. Why the hell would they not fit the CV? Anyone else had this problem?[confused]

Think I have already solved the problem. Apparently the boot can be VIN specific. The one I ordered first was from a parts place that may have the number mislabeled, but the other parts place appears to have it correctly labeled. So the second part I order was the same as the first but from a different place. It's part number was 1K0498203A but I need 8E0498203. So I guess always refer to Etka first then double check the OE numbers from the parts place.
