Please help me anyone who knows. Does anybody know where the fuel injectors are on a 2006 Audi A4 3.2l quattro? Also, how would I test them? Thanks. Pictures would help
Follow the fuel line to the rail, since it is a V6, there should be two rails. These two lines will have 3 injectors. If you think about it, there really are only 3 things that go into each cylinder, Air, Fuel, and Spark. So when you see the coil packs, it is the other thing going into each cylinder. They are under the fuel rail, so you will have to remove the rail to get the injectors out.
Be sure to relieve the fuel pressure before removing the injectors, they are under HIGH pressure, and prime as you open the drivers door to release the hood. To properly test, you need to bring them to a shop, as they require bench testing by a pro. They have to connect electronics and test the flow.
A backyard mechanic would swap injectors to another cylinder, and see if the problem moves with it.
