USP lists it for the B7 A4, I think it may be the same as the S3 camshaft, but not sure.

Im not running one but if I needed to [wrench] it I would buy from http://www.expressoemparts.com/oe-volkswagen/06f109101k?gclid=CJ3ZktvX1sYCFUyPHwod0WEMHQ its half the price with a factory warranty. But sounds good for a upgrade if I needed another cam again[:(]
I remember reading the [az] member that bought this from another [az] member lost interest in his build and since bought a B8 S4.
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/603633-Full-part-out mite want to conact him. I reading something about aluthman contacting him about pistons are something to that matter and the last person had it for sale
Damn you Adam[headbang]. beat me to it[=(]

That engine had JE piston IIRC. I would rather stick with OEM pistons and just rods. Maybe mahle pistons. Probably should have said that. If I cannot find anything I will just throw some rods in my engine while I have it out to fix the head and everything. I wonder if he will sell just the head.

It's the same cam for both engines. Tts cam is not swappable

But the TTS and golf R have an EA113 like the B7 A4?

In the us? I'm pretty sure it was a second generation 2.0t, if I am wrong and it is the same engine then it's the same golf r cam which is the same a4 cam

Here we go. Page 4 shows the R and TTS having the same flat tappet cam as the A4.

It is too bad there is only 1 used golf r or tts engine forsale in the country and it is broken since they have stronger rods, pistons, and longer duration cam I was going to try and pick up an engine.

Cams are the same, the rods and pistons are a good upgrade though

What's the cc with the piston? If doing rods I would go aftermarket though and not another oem.

I am not sure if the golf R/TT-S cam has the same specs as the S3 intake cam, although I have the feeling its the same cam. I remember there being something different in the base software when it came to programming the fuel numbers. I want to say APR was messing around with the S3 cam a few years back and discovered that.

I have a BPY block and a crank that's probably useable for sale if you want to build one. I have stock pistons and rods also. Head and oil pump were junk however.

I will keep this in mind if I fuck up putting in the 1.8t oil pump on my block but it is easier to work with my engine knowing it has no notable oil consumption making it a good candidate for the drop in rods.
