I myself am not a fan of it. It looks way too flashy. I like the body kits but hate the shiny color. Audis are about conservativeness. If Audi owners wanted something flashy, they'd buy a Benz or Beamer which are widely purchased to make a statement about status to others. And Audi is bought to make a statement about status to oneself, not to show off to others.
it's not a shiny color, it's polished aluminum.

It's purely for show...MTM owns the car, it is not street legal and will find itself in a museum after the body style ceases production.

Aluminum has a shiny silver color to it. Besides, either way it was created to be flashy.

Yeah, that car is re-DONK-ulous.
^^ What you're saying is probably accurate for most Audi owners but, I'm not sure that would subscribe to your opinons about BMW and Mercedes, et al. I think that most guys like us who are buying these cars for performance equally respect the Benzes, BMW's and Porsches of the world as much as our own Audis.
I myself was a militant BMW 3 series owner for a good 10 years before my 1st A4 in 2001. Imperial, one of the moderators of this forum, also has traded his S4 in for a new 3 series -- we're both DEFINATELY not about "flash," for example.
But I will certainly agree whole heartedly that there are many more kids on the road with BMW's who are all about flash. As Audi gains in popularity, I think you'll see it there too -- it won't be long before there are just as many tricked out and pricey A4's roaming the roads....
No offense taken or intended -- Just my .02 having been a BMW owner for so long.
