My friend ran the HP+ on his 330 BMW and said that they were not a good pad for the street. I guess they are super aggressive and will wear out your rotors quickly. I guess they are great on track once you get them warm though.

Everything ive heard about the HP+ is that the squeal a lot. Like unbearably when cold.

Have them. When new, they don't squeal but also don't grip much compared to say Textar pads. Once worn in, the squeak at light loads until warm.

Not much dust at all from them, and they don't chew the rotors. Had my C230 drilled cryo stop tech rotors for almost 100k km's with the 17z calipers on the front.

They absolutely suck if they get water on them in the rain. To the point you almost have no brakes even when the pedal is almost all the way to the floor.

They don't fade as easy as ratbestos or stock pads.

So basically, they are OK for the street if you don't want much dust.

Textar pads grip like crazy. i had them on my b6. I have stoptech streets now and id like something more aggressive

I feel like i say this all the time but i love the akebonos. Have the hawks on the e36 ive been driving and i much prefer the akebonos. More bite no fade less dust no squeaking. Much better pad for all uses imo. They bite really well when cold but when they get hot they really grab.

The HPS are good, less dust than OEM and great grip, but they do make noise.

I read that in a few reviews. So I[wrench] alot of Anti squeal on the metal backing. So far so [up].

I've got the HPS pads on slotted rotors. I get a slight humming noise on hard braking, but I always attributed that to the slotted rotors. I have no complaints about the HPS pads.

I run Hawk's Ceramics on Zimmerman drilled rotors and over the last 30k miles and I have no complaints. Almost zero brake dust, and the hotter the brakes and harder you push them the better they perform. They can almost be a little lack luster under normal braking conditions, but once you turn it on and need them they are there.

I have been running HPS pads with 345mm rotors for almost 200k miles and the noises are worse after lots of bumper to bumper stop and go traffic.
