That spare tire might see upwards of what, a couple hundred miles max during the life of the car? Not to mention that Hankook is one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world and supplies OE tires for Mercedes (for the new S-Class at that), BMW, Toyota, Nissan, and others...

^^^^^^This^^^^^^ honestly this post from the OP is comical......LOL!!! While I have had nothing but good experience with continental tires and none with Hankook. I have to say that while my stock 19" Conti's are wearing fairly well (and perform well) they are noisy as all hell. I know quite a few people running Hankooks with zero complaints. I will be going with something different than Conti when I replace my stockers..... PSS for sure.

I have used the Audi-supplied jack many times (my driveway is not wide enough to get my low-profile hydraulic jack in from the side) and it has not let me down yet. I have driven on the Hankook spare tire and it did its job just fine. I have another car with Hankook tires on all four wheels and while I don't really like the tires, I don't see them failing due to poor quality either.
