Hi, I wonder which cargo accessories are your favourites. I'm quite happy with my floor net because it's sturdy. I can put glass bottles on it, drive home fast, no any accidents in the trunk; and it does not occupy space.

Do you have any experiences with OEM trunk mats? Are they worth the price (around $100)?
Thanks in advance,

+1 On the Net, used it all the time! Best OEM solution I've seen in a car. Except maybe those little black plastic thingies...not sure what they do.
The 12 volt plug in the back is super useful if you go to a lot of sporting events. Only thing I wish my new car had.

I have the trunk mat and absolutely love it. Keeps the carpet from getting messed up and the floor net keeps my misc. stuff from flying around. The mat is worth the $100 bucks if you put dirty stuff in your trunk.

I use the Weathertech trunk liner and like it, but I don't normally carry a lot of stuff in my trunk. Some good recommendations in here.

I have the weathertech trunk liner as well. I just loaded my car up with a 5 foot folding table and 8 folding chairs.
OEM trunk liner and cargo net. I have a slim snap top lid bin that I have a quart of oil, coolant, quick detailer, and some microfibers in that I leave strapped under the cargo net. If i need to put something large in the trunk I just slide the bin to a back corner.

Thanks all for your replies! I'm ordering a few more OEM accessories. Gotta check that weathertech trunk liner in a shop.
Btw, are you guys happy with the OEM shade? I got it last week, and the sun in California seems to be laughing at me :P I think I would be better off with a window tint kit...
Here is a pic of the shade where you can appreciate the quality.

I thought the OEM sunshade was sort of flimsy, so got a Covercraft folding shade. Fits well (you specify the model and year when ordering) and comes in a range of colors. Also has a storage bag (extra cost option).

When folded, it's stored in a fabric bag that measures ~ 38"L x 8"W x 2"D, so not a good fit under or to the side of the driver's seat. I typically toss it on the back seat or floor, or more commonly, in the side of the trunk next to the Creekside folding trunk organizer I use (on top of a Weathertech trunk mat). Details on the Creekside trunk organizer here (http://www.creeksideproducts.com/cargopak.htm#).

Yes, most definitely. Where is the part number located?

It's a pretty snug fit since it's custom-cut to fit the A4/S4, but it's not as close around the mirror as the roll-up shades. On the other hand, it's a thicker material (feels like a foam board) than the roll-up shades so I think it's as good or better than the latter. The accordion-like fan-fold is probably more difficult to insert against the glass that a softer roll-up, but that results in a much better fit IMO. My car doesn't go to work and sit in a parking lot every day, so isn't exposed to a lot of hot sun on a regular basis. When I do use it however, there's a major reduction of the temperatures I can feel on the surface of the steering wheel and top of the dashboard. Maybe StealthBlackA4 could offer his opinion on its heat rejection capability.

No idea, maybe on a sticker somewhere? If it's too much of a hassle, don't worry about it. I'll see if I can find more info online about a B8 version.

I have the Audi OEM S4 all weather mats in the car but am looking for a trunk liner. There seems to be several OEM Audi options available, kind of annoying they don't make an S4 branded one but make an A4 branded one. Anyone using OEM or does everyone seem to favor the Weathertech?
For windshield sun shade, I picked one of these cheaper ones up from Amazon a while ago http://amzn.to/1Kdooav - honestly that CoverCraft one looks SICK but man it's got to be a beast to unfold and put in every day. The main reason I got the generic one is because it folds down to a small 12" or so circle and fits in a tidy little storage bag. I either leave it on the passenger seat when not in the windshield, stick it on the rear floor or jam it between the center console and passenger seat while driving. Takes a 15 seconds to put in the windshield and folds up just as fast. Maybe I'm lazy?

Anyone else have both?

It's not "perfect" as the area behind the rear view mirror needs to be fumbled with a bit, but overall, yea it's nice. Please pardon the craptastic photo

The area behind the rear view mirror and then closest to the hood is also blocked, it's just black fabric and not silver. It does make a pretty significant reduction in heat though.

Poking around on Amazon for a trunk cargo box to store some of my crap in so it's not rolling around as I'm not keen on the net, even though I have one, I found these
http://i.imgur.com/sOTd1TY.jpg (http://amzn.to/1e5mpHe)
$25 for 2 of them http://amzn.to/1e5mpHe, they don't show the bottom but the comments seem to indicate they use a Velcro type gripper to stay in place, so they obviously wouldn't work with an all weather cargo matte. I go hiking and throw my boots in the trunk, amongst other things, so I feel it would make the most sense for me, but this also seems pretty rad for those who still have carpet back there.

That's exactly how the blocks we have work. Velcro on the bottom. So if you get trunk liners make sure that they are the carpeted type.

Have you used the blocks Weathertech sells for them? I loved the OEM ones we had in our Jetta, but if you have the liner obviously velcro doesn't stick to the rubber/plastic. Weathertech sells the same style of block and claim it works with their rubber liner mat. I am guessing they are adhesive based but how long would those last I wonder?
I rarely haul anything in the S4, that's why I have a wagon LOL, but I use the cargo net with the factory liner mat and the grocery hooks.

I wish Audi made one with the s4 logo or something on it to the quality of the covercraft. I may get the covercraft eventually since it looks legit

Not meant to derail the thread, but let me know if you want a B8 Weathertech trunk liner (from my old B8). I haven't had a chance to list it yet (along with the front floor mats) but plan to do so. In great shape and can get some close up pics.
Other than that, all Weathertech products are great and I am definitely getting the Mood cargo net.

for some unknown reason my new 2015 was delivered with cargo net. It is useful for securing light things , but not great for bottles or wine or other smaller object that are heavy. It keeps my brief case from moving under bottom edge, secures my hats and blanket under top edge. keeps stuff in trunk from moving. Would I pay $100-150 for it, doubtful, but for free it is ok. some of the more expensive one on amazon my be worth the $30-$35 price to try out assuming it can be returned,

Expanding this topic further, has anyone tried installing a mini-fridge behind the rear seat arm rest?
I remember going to a car show and an D2 S8 on air had one and I always thought it was the coolest idea.
Understandably, it would decrease the trunk space and eliminate the cargo door, but for hot climates where skis are not needed, I would entertain the option for daily driving.

OEM mat (if buying today, would get Weathertech as I've since replaced my OEM front mats w/ WT and also got WT for the 911) + the OEM net. The S4 has a remarkably large, but more importantly pretty accessible trunk. It's a big reason I've kept the car so long, just very functional as an all-around daily driver. In contrast, I've rented "full size" cars like the Nissan Maxima and was appalled at the dimensions of the trunk and how small and awkward the opening was. Audi did well in this aspect.
