New 2014 6MT S4 Owner!!

Well the car was CPO but the owner is new! 2014 6MT, prem plus, sports diff, phantom black w/ black optic, black nappa leather, Tech package, MMI Navi Plus, and B&O. It has been a few months since I got it and I have been loving it so far.

Some of my story towards getting the S4…my prior car was Mazda RX8, which was really fun to drive but terrible in the snow. I needed a Sports Sedan that was AWD and that I could buy in a manual transmission. It really came down to S4 vs 335xi and I’m just not a fan of the way beamers look, not to mention I have always liked the subtle class of the S4. I was a long time lurker on Audizine before purchasing in order to learn as much as possible. I was a little worried about getting a car right before they changed the model, but I felt being the newest model for 15-16 months was worth it as I needed a car and did not want to bridge with something else, not to mention the potential of the next S4 being DSG only. This is my first German car - I have about 3 years/35,000 miles left on factory bumper to bumper and additional 2 years, 50,000 miles for CPO and Audicare so hopefully it lasts me roughly 5 years without too many issues. It’s amazing to finally be part of the Audi family!

Lucky bastard :-( I own a 11' Mazdaspeed3 looking into a 2012+ S4 but I can't technically afford it until beginning of 2016 :-|. Do u have any plans 2 apr or giac tune it?

Thanks! Yah, I loved the RX-8, but the power difference is amazing, not to mention how much better my gas mileage is with the S4. I do not plan on tuning it, I'm way to paranoid about warranty stuff. Maybe if Audi offers something in the future and I keep my warranty I'd do it.

When I was searching for this one it took me forever to find what I wanted - (6MT, leather, tech package, 2013+ CPO) - I thought I'd have to end up waiting till 2016 as well. It seemed there were only like 6 in the US. I ended up having it shipped across the country, but well worth the wait!

That's my issue, I have the same specs as u but slightly different: any color but black, has 2 have sport diff, 2012+ model year, less than 40k miles.

Congrats and welcome to the family ! was the same situation with my S4. was only one in the state for sale. People hold on to these cars. Treat it right nd she will treat you right

Some of my story towards getting the S4…my prior car was Mazda RX8, which was really fun to drive but terrible in the snow.

I also had an RX-8 before my last car. The benefit of it being terrible in the snow is the throttle steering control you learn with a RWD. I had fun, but it only lasted 23 months. No regrets.

BTW your S4 spec (black + black optics) is probably the nicest stock spec there is. Seems like every other configuration (including mine) absolutely needs mods (wheels+drop).
