Hello All,

I have for sale my 2001 Audi Allroad with 143,000 Miles, 2.7t, 6MT. I purchased the car in October of last year (2014) with 132,000 miles. In January I drove the car to Canada for a ski trip (1600 miles round trip) and didn?t have a single problem. I wouldn?t hesitate to drive this car long distance. I made a quick purchase after getting into an accident in my S4 and now it?s time to move on. The PO installed an RS4 clutch and did an ST coilover conversion when he ran into trouble with the air suspension system. Most of the components are still on the vehicle. Essentially it?s been converted to an A6 (CO for A6). The ride is nice and ST is a good bang for your buck. This car doesn?t leak a drop of oil?not kidding. Mechanic said this is a rare car, having no oil leaking from either turbo. When I got the car, I had to work out a few issues?boost leak, lights on the dash for the air ride, abs didn?t work, rear heated seats didn?t work, and airbag light was on. A week after owning the car and I had all the issues resolved, and now there aren?t any lights on the dash, all seat heaters work, and the boost leak was from the TBB (throttle body boot)?which I replaced with a Samco one.

The car has the following factory options
? Silver Exterior w/grey flares
? 2-tone Interior (grey/dark grey?)
? Power seats with memory on both drivers and passengers side
? Cold Weather Package (front and rear heated seats)
? Auto-dimming side mirrors and rear view mirror
? Xenon Headlights
Maintenance
? OEM Timing belt service @100K
? RS4 Clutch installed @121K
? Brakes @121K
? ST Coilover Conversion @121K
? New tires @125K
? OEM Fuel filter @132K
? OEM Front Brake Lines @132K
? OEM diverter valves @130K
? OEM N75 Valve @130K
? OEM Slave Cylinder@137
Upgrades
? RS4 clutch
? ST Coilovers
? JHM SSK (full kit) @132K
? Alcantara Shift Boot
? LED license plate lights
? 5000K HID Bulbs
? Samco hose kit on all intercooler piping

This car is certainly not perfect but it will suit an enthusiast or a commuter that needs a luxurious ride that also has some power. It?s not fast by audi standards, but it?s not slow either. It pulls strong and is reliable. AC blows cold and the heat works like a champ.

CONS
The only issues with the car would be a possible need for replacing the 1-2 sync ring. It occasionally grinds going into second gear. I have no issues with it since I know it?s there, so I make sure to have a clean shift. And in January, we in MD were experiencing some below average temperatures and I slid backing up and bumped into an incredibly strong mailbox. This left me with a dent in the rear hatch, but did not extend to the taillight or any other part of the car. The dent is purely aesthetic but is an eye sore. I priced a replacement online for $250 but couldn?t bring myself to purchase. These two things are being accounted for in the price.

You?re more than welcome to text me at 410.570.985two for questions/concerns and to schedule to take a look at the vehicle.

The car is currently on different wheels, but the stock ones pictured will be on the vehicle for the next owner. I also have a JVC navigation and Sub in the car that will not be included with the sale. The car will however come with roof rack, which latches onto the factory rails and a bunch of spare parts (coil packs, ignition control modules, etc.)

I?m sure there is something else I?m forgetting so feel free to text me!

Serious inquiries only. Price is OBO. Thanks!!

-Pat

Not sure what's up with all the question marks. I typed up the FS ad in MS Word and now it looks like that.

Would you be willing to ship the car?

Yes, but at the buyers expense.

Dunno if you've heard back from Chris_A1 yet but assuming you still have the car does the heated steering wheel work? '01 had that as part of the cold weather package. Also, did you just have the air ride coded out of the computer? I am a fan of the air ride and probable have enough parts to reinstall the system if the plumbing/ compressor etc haven't been hacked out by the PO.
lastly at this stage what would it take to leave the JVC in there? No doubt it's a custom instal and curious if it was tied in to the steering wheel controls.....
I had an '01 6mt before and I miss that car...

Thanks!

Heated steering wheel works perfectly, heats up nice and quick. The ecu was recoded as an A6 (to think it didn't have air ride) and can easily be recoded back to an allroad. All I did was just a letter in the coding.

As for the navigation, I installed it with the steering wheel control module and all works but I will not be selling it with the car. I will be putting it in another car shortly, along with the sub/amp.
