my question - Will the LIP on these wheels be bigger with a 35 offset OR with a 45 offset.....

Offset has nothing to do with the lip...

Offset = The distance from the wheel's hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel

well for some reason, the people at les schwab told me that if you get a smaller offset youll have a bigger lip, but i dont know.....im making sure. Audisnawb has the same wheels, but he says he has a 2 inch lip, while mine appears to only be 1.5 inches....so this got me thinking...

If i measure the entire part from the spokes where the lip starts all the way to the very very end i get 2 inches, but the actual straight lip itself is 1.5 inches....

any explanations/comments please..?

I think it works like this...

the larger ET allows you to have a larger lip and vice versa.

are those Flik wasps?

if they are, i think the offset is 33.

they are ADR M sports, not fliks. So can anyone directly tell me if having a 45 offset will give you a bigger lip than having a 35?

A greater offset will give you better clearance for brakes, not neccessarily more of a lip.
