Hi there and greetings from Romania, Transilvania to be more specific. And no, we don't bite people or something. [:D]
I'm Vlad, 21 years of age, engineering college student.

I discovered AudiZine a couple of years ago, when i buyed my second car at that time, after owning an 2005 Seat Ibiza.
Since then i surfed the site and learned many useful and interesting things, so for today i decided to present you my car.

As i seen for now, many of the cars here on AudiZine are really modified, especially in the engine compartiment, unfortunately i didn't do anything on this side, because i believe my engine suits very well my daily needs. For reving and other gasoline stuff, i also have a '98 Honda Prelude (i know about the hate on Hondas in the US, here is not present though [:p])

So, let's begin with the beginning:

The car is an 06/2000 B5 sedan facelift, powered by an 1.9 TDI PD AJM engine, with 85kW (116 hp) and 285 nm.
The colour is EbonySchwarz Perleffekt.
I bought the car in January 2013 at 164.000 km. By now it has 227.000 km and still runs very well.

The optionals that deserve to be mentioned: sport leather interior with electric front seats, Bose sound, Xenon Headlights, interior auto-dimming mirror, alarm.

Mods/Updates by now (not in chronological order):

-installed Cruise Control;
-window tinting (5% transparency back, 68% transparency front);
-US module front signal lights;
-coming home/leaving home module retrofit;
-yellow infoliated fog lights;
-17" Audi A8 D2 wheels on 225/45 Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance;
-H&R sport springs;
-Kayaba sport shock absorbers;
-England big mirror on the passenger side (EU comes with a small mirror on the right);
-full led illumination on the interior;
-Dectane LED taillights;
-"M" style rear spoiler;
-exterior ambiental lights in the mirror housings;
(i hope i didn't forget anything)

In the last couple of weeks i also ordered an RS4 oem grill and oem RS4 interior door handles. I expect them to arrive this week.

Future plans:

-install the RS4 stuff + order and install oem RS4 handbrake cover;
-full black interior from the american S4. (sunvisors, handles, etc);
-S4 front and rear bumpers + side skirts;
-Stage 1 tune (about 140 hp and 340 nm);
... and that's all for now.

The car as it sits, in the pictures below.

So Clean, and black-on-black. I like all your tasteful mods so far. Nice front and rear lights, etc. OEM upgrade wheels, too.

I really love that Euro facelift trunk lid. So smooth!

Thank you for not biting people, and stuff. And great English, btw. [up]

@walky_talky20 - Thank you very much for the nice words. You mentioned about the trunk lid. You know what is very funny? Here in Europe, car enthusiats run for US-style mods: signal lights (like me), some want the US headlights, some want the US trunk lid to adapt a small license plate, some buy instruments clusters in MPH, lol, and so many more examples. As i seen, in the US, people run for Euro mods.
Isn't that very funny? [:D]
As for my english, in some of the european countries, to get a decent or above decent job, you have to know a very good english. To exaggerate a little, it's almost considered to be known as a native language in some places. German and Spanish are considered more of a "foreign language".

@Nollywood - Thanks for the appreciation. I also love your Pelican Blue B5. (i've read almost the entire topic).

@down_n_dapper - Thanks! I believe your signature entierly represents the reality with these cars. [cool]

Edit: I will try to post pictures before and after with the all future mods, as i seen it is done here on AudiZine.

Cheers!
