okay so first, I recieved my 18 by 8.5 ADR M sport wheels, and i still need to get tires. Ive been looking at yokohama AVS Sport tires, just wondering what you guys thought about them....? The one thing is, im going to be slammed on H&R race springs with bilstein shocks, BUT i want my tires to be as big and as wide as possible. I think it looks much better when the sidewall on the tire is a little bit taller, and i want them to be WIDE.....

I really like the car below, the tires make it look really really good. Im guessing the sidwalls are 40? Would i be able to fit 40s without rubbing?, if not 40s then I think 35s would look excellent as well...also...Would i rub with 235s? Or do i need to stick with 225s..?

Oh and, where can i find Audi center caps that will fit my wheels??

Thanks

Those look like 17s with 45-section tires. And I love my Yokos. Good in the wet, great in the dry. They grip pretty well. And the tread pattern is badass-looking. [:)]

Painted rims always look a size smaller, so those could be 18s, and they are probably 40 height. I am running about the same set up you described, and I don't really rub unless i have alot of people in the car and i go over bumps, then it hits the front sometimes. You may want to get the fenders rolled, otherwise it works well.

so 235/40 tires will be fine with H&R race springs?

I have 235/40 and 8.5" wide rims.
Currently on standard Audi sports suspension.

I'm thinking of dropping it too but am worried it will rub. Doesn't look like there's a lot of room.

what off set are your rims?
Mine are 35mm

I guess his spokes must be more curved.

I have a friend with 19's on his S4 and 19/35/235 rubber and he had rubbing issues at the front only after dropping it.

He said that he's getting the fender rolled and that would fix it

will there be a difference in appearance between 225s and 235s?
