Any advice, suggestions, or things to avoid ? K&N Drop-in ? Blitz style with bracket ? What works and looks nice ?

Stock works best, a short ram style will sound better.

A supercharger is the proper intake for any V6. Too you can't get one for yours.

PM DDQ if you have any intake questions though. He's the man.

As far as intakes, just use a paper filter, and then cut out all the paper for added flow. Then supercharge it like AudiMarc said, with the Turbonator for some real awesome power: http://www.turbonator.com/ (they're an Audizine advertiser).

Once you go turbonator, you'll need to upgrade to a BOV to compensate for the added power. Just drill a hole in the intake, and bolt one on. It will look badass. You can also drill a hole near the tip of your exhaust pipe, and you can get that "woo woo" whistle sound. Don't waste your money on whistler tips when you can just make them yourself.

Audimarc did a write-up on other economy mods if you search. He's the resident expert when it comes to modding on a budget.

I have a foam filtter, I like it. Similar to K&N but without some of the oil hazards to your o2 sensor. I would recomend it.

I had the LLtek CAI and the only change that I noticed for sure was the sound. I ended up selling it.

DDQ uses a used tampon, but only OEM versions!!!!

I use K&N tampons. The oil helps them slide in easier.
