I picked up my S4 this week that was a car on the boat when I picked it out. Really happy with all the options but did not pay enough attention to what the Ice Silver Quattro Decal was. Not a fan of stickers so I am trying to decide if I should have the dealer take it off. Seems really out of place to me but I appreciate the historical context.

Anybody here a fan of this decal option? Should it stay or should it go?

It came with the sticker? I had no idea that was an option. I would leave it for a couple weeks and then decide, but it looks a little cheesy in the photo.

I have, and wanted, the 18" wheels since they will be my winter setup and think they look decent in person. I will probably get 18" wheels next year for a summer setup since a BBK is unlikely, and I like having extra rubber between my wheels and potholes.

Meh, not a fan. Looks like a loaner/demo car with that stuck on the side... I wouldn't have it on mine [down]...
I'm sure you can just peel it off yourself...

Since I'm under 25 I am adding the sticker...... jk

Keep it for a week like someone else said and then decide. It goes with the Alu-Optic though pretty well

Friends don't let friends put stickers on their car, no matter how cool they may seem.
Ultimately tho, it's your ride. Sleep on it a few days.

id say dyno the car with the stickers, then dyno without them
and compare results to make your final decision

Not a fan, they look too big there. I have that decal in black that i put on the rear diffuser in the center between the exhaust pipes. Its a lot more subtle.

Also where did you get those side blades?

Had them on my previous A4, they're too cheesy for an S4 in my opinion. Had a flame fest the first time I put them on my A4.

meh, less is better is a lot of cases. Almost always true for badges and stickers.

deep six decals. I love the standard 18" wheels however

The fade decals on the old Audis were cool, and they have a certain nostalgia today, but this decal just doesn't suit this kind of car.

I do, however, love the silver door blades ;)

How did you remove them? Was there any paint damage or evidence of them being on after you removed? I assume these were factory installed?

Thanks!

They were factory installed. The dealer took them off for me and I can see no sign of them. They were not on out in the sun for a long period though, took them off within a week of getting it.

Makes snide comment about age, uses "your" instead of "you're".

Not even about the "kind of car"........these just don't look right, they don't look "factory" and they just look small and slapped on. Unless they were larger, with the fade design and more retro I would never even consider them. LOL

Those blades do look good though........

I have a one sticker rule. Repping your performance shop, a extra badge/emblem (APR/Supercharged etc..), country flag or crest, these are some of the ones that I still think its still in the "clean" category. I have my performance shops sticker in the middle bottom of my rear window.

Performance stickers / decals, if going on the car, should go on the underside of the hood.
