Hello all,
So I've had a problem with my interior lighting, locks, windows, turn signals and horn. After hours of research I've found that it may be the CCM (comfort control module). I've pulled it out from under the front driver seat, surprisingly there was no water damage (since that seems to be the case). So it must be a broken wire or the module itself. I already found one online with the same model # but also read that it needs to be recoded after installation. I don't have a VAG scanner, are the codes unique to each car? or are they general to a car model (ie. B6 A4)? Just trying to avoid going to a shop and having them charge me $100 just to plug it in... What other steps are necessary after installing the new CCM?

Also if anyone knows of a decent shop...I've tried 2 in the Dallas area and wasn't too pleased.

Car: 2002 B6 A4 3.0
CCM#: 8E0 959 433T

Thanks in advance.
