My stock ECU(2001.5 A4) hit .85bar last night, or about ~12.5 psi.....After it hit .85 I didnt think it would get past the norm of like .6-.65bar, but then it hit and held .78bar up until like 55000rpms then dropped down to the norm of .5x'sbar til redline....what could of cause this?
btw: it was like 95 last night and really realyl humid....so I dont think the weather had anything to do with it....and it is in saftey mode now.....only hitting .3-.35bar....have to go get it checked out...

At 55,000 rpm your lucky all you got was limp mode lol. On a serious note, I don't know why your in limp mode. It's perfectly normal for a stock ECU on your car to spike at 12.5psi.

Especially when its 95 degrees and really humid. The weather had everything to do with it.

Also the gear you were in, what RPM you were at when you hit it, as well as the atmospheric variables can all cause boost levels to vary. When my car was stock I hit 12 PSI occasionally, but 10 PSI most of the time. Now that I'm chipped, I've seen 21-22 PSI, but usually in the 18-20 PSI range. If I step on it in first though I only get 16 ish. Never hit limp mode though.
