Hello,
I have over 80k miles on my tiptronic B7 A4 and am trying to replace any and all worn parts to make the car work at its full potential. So far I've replaced the following: motor mounts, upper control arms, thermostat, front/rear brake pads/rotors, coil packs, spark plugs, cam follower, DV, PCV (replaced with a catch can), brake fluid, oil. I'm looking at replacing the following and am looking for any other suggestions on easy replacements/fixes I can DIY:
fuel filter
rear differential fluid
air filter
carbon cleaning?
ATF fluid?
any other suspension fixes?

Timing belt and the pullies should really be number one on that list and whilst your there might as well throw in a new water pump :)
Also how much where ur upper control arms ... And did you diy them if not how much was it for them installed out the door.
I needa do mine been sitting on it for WAY long. But I dont have the right tools or space to do it myself :(

What about sway bar bushings, end links and maybe the N80 valve?

Yup, like Dan said, get that timing belt/water pump done ASAP. Also get your cam chain and tensioner looked at.
Either one of those things break and you're going to have a very expensive engine repair ahead of you.

Forgot to include these parts. I had these changed/looked at around 10k miles ago.

These are all good ideas. I'll be under the car later and will check the sway bar bushings. I wasn't aware of the N80 valve but it looks like a good easy/cheap fix.

I don't remember the cost for the upper control arm replacement but I felt a significant improvement in handling with the new ones installed.

Not too bad of a job - unless you like keeping your engine really clean [:p]

I would do the lower control arms, sway bar end links, and tie rods. FCP will sell you a full kit through the group buy minus the uppers you just got for ~$220 shipped IIRC.
