Look inside your fuse box cover you should see an allen key. Use that key in the hole near the sunroof controls and crank in manualy.

The glass is fully functional. The only thing im having problems with is the cover.

Wait, so when you open it the entire cover goes into the roof and when you close it none of it comes out?

BULLSEYE!! Thats what have been happening to it!!!! Any solution??

not sure how to fix it but there is a peice on the back of the glass that grabs that cover to push it forward. That peice must have come lose or off. Maybe tommarow I will look in the bently for instructions and let you know what you have to do.

I don't get it. My cover goes all the way to the back when I open the sunroof but when I close it the cover stays open. only closes manually. Isn't that the normal behaviour? I still prefer it this way than closing the cover with the window. I normally leave it open. only close it on higher speeds to cut the wind noise.

well I have the bently open.....the part that grabs to the sunroof is on the cover itself. Needless to say I think you are going to have to go in and just see what is not working. I was going to type the instructions but they are WAY to long and detailed to type atm. If you feel you still want to go for it I will scan the pages for you. You might be able to see what is going on by just removing the sunroof panel...Here is how to do that....if in fact you need to replace the cover you will need the detailed instructions I said earlier...anyways here is how to remove the panel:
1) tilt sunroof panel open
2) remove trim pieces on left and right toward center of roof
3) remove left and right torx bolts (3x torqued to 40in/lb)
4) lift sunroof panel and remove

hope that helps....
