View Full Version : Eurocode Alu Kreuz groupbuy?
Hi guys,
I can't stop earing how good the Alu Kreuz is improving the handling of our S4, but that part seems very expensive to me.

Any of you guys would be interested in a groupbuy? Say yes here and if we are enough I could contact them to see what can be done ...

Personally, it would all depend on the group buy price they spit out. I would certainly be interested however.

Does anyone know why this is not suitable for RHD cars?

It is a very good part. You might be saving $20 or so in a group buy but even on black friday when I bought it, it wasn't discounted. Only free shipping.

Im Interest in a GB. To answer your question "RHD cars have an additional steering gearbox that is about an inch and one half below the actual attachment point. The gearbox is different because of clearance issues with the steering wheel and the chassis. " Quoted from a Eurocode post yw :)

Damn, I just received mine last week. Either way, USP had a sale and I saved $25.

How difficult is this to install??? Does it require an alignment after?

From what I read it is quite easy to install, and no you won't need an alignment.

Sorry guys, Eurocode is not interested in any Alu Kreuz group buy from us as stated in the answer they sent me back...
Steph, thank you very much for your inquiry. We do not have any current plans of offering any group buys for the Alu Kreuz.

Can't wait for another company to offer a similar product. I personally think that it is WAY overpriced for what it is.

Lol. I dont think it's expensive or anything. The price is fine, but I'm not gonna buy anything from a company that responds to a good faith, reasonable inquiry with that much disinterest.

Yeah, I'm totally fine with that response. Simple, clear and prompt. I guess they could have sugar coated and given people false hope that maybe one day would happen.

Yea when I bought my 2012 a couple years ago they did two or three group buys back to back as I got one at that time for that car. Sucks but they probably sold over a 150 at the discounted rate

Did we read the same response: "Steph, thank you very much for your inquiry. We do not have any current plans of offering any group buys for the Alu Kreuz."
You don't think it is expensive, but still want a discount, and then refuse to ever buy the inexpensive product when they nicely decline selling it for less than MSRP... LOL, indeed.

Yes I read the same response. I didn't like that they phrased their response as though it didn't matter for their policy whether we made them an offer or not.
"We do not have any current plans of offering any group buys...". Awesome. I realize you didn't have any plans to make a group buy offer, but here we are, making you the offer. So please give some indication of whether or not you gave our offer any consideration. Regardless of whether you had plans to offer a GB or not, it's time to re-evaluate because you can see how many people are expressing interest.

I edited your comment so you know how reads for a business that has no interest in doing a "group buy".

Lol. You're always contributing so much value with your posts.
My point was that it was clear from their comment that they were trying to send a message that they are not influenced by what we want, and our offers don't make any impact one way or another on their plans for when they make special offers.
Maybe that doesn't bother you, but the thing is, we are different people and when I deal with small businesses, one of the benefits that I expect to get from dealing with a smaller company vs a bigger one is that I want them to be more catering and accommodating to their customers.
That doesn't necessarily mean they have to offer discount pricing and group buys if they don't want to, but when people get together to show an interest I want to see them give some indication that they considered what we were saying.
Having said all this. None of this is a big deal or anything, but in this world there are so many things I want to spend my money on, if I don't like one merchant's attitude I will just move on to the next item :).

Nvm!
I have to say that I found the answer a little bit rude, but that is me. I might be wrong. I personally dealt with dozens of parts/tuning shops and I was mostly always satisfied with their answer, even though I did not always get what I wanted.
But I could not say the same in that case. So sorry about that guys … no group buy here.

This is an awesome thread! To me it shows how entitled some people have become.
Hey small business- I like your product but I think it's overpriced. If I get a bunch of others to say it's overpriced also would you sell it to us at a discounted price? Oh you won't - I'm going to rip y'all on the interweb forums hoping to get you to change your mind.
Outstanding!

I bought it at full price and couldn't be happier with the purchase, worth every bit of the advertised price. It's a shame some won't be enjoying it the same as so many others are in an effort to save a mere $20.

Eurocode has done group buys on this in the past. They time them and sometimes pair them with other products. I find it interesting that people who have been on this forum less than 2 months come in insulting other forum members and companies.
Stop the flaming, trolling, and personal attacks.
