What's the deal here guys? I'm having PSS put on tomorrow but is the PS2 a better option? No track stuff here, just normal driving. Got 21K out of the OEM tires so I don't suspect that I'm very hard on tires. Thanks. A buddy with a TTRS just asked me the difference and I have no answer.
EDIT: Never mind. Found what I needed. How do I delete this thread?

Don't know much about the PS2 but do know/have the PSS. The PSS is the gold standard. Best handling, riding,, quietest, smoothest, most comfortable tire, period. Hard to believe all these boxes can get checked by one tire, but it is true with the PSS. It is a summer tire, however, so don't look to it for use in snow. Also, it is rated for 30k miles and not quite as long lasting as some of your all season options. But that is a small sacrifice to pick up so many of the other aforementioned benefits.
PSS! No way to delete your own thread and we don't have any active moderators but you could try the report button.

Thanks. I should have spent the 30 seconds it took me to post this to actually google the comparo's. I did that after and found what I needed. Everything you say above is exactly what I found in my search. Looking forward to the PSS.

Ok, I'll take a mulligan this time and take a bit more caution before I start another useless thread. But fuk it, why don't we throw some TD1 questions here just to complete the fail?

PS2 comes on sportier cars from the factory I believe, I think the wear is worse...PSS is a 300 treadwear tire while I think PS2 is near 220. PSS is a better all around tire, much cheaper too I believe.

Even better: Why would anyone want a manual transmission when they can buy the better DSG?

Throw in the 91 octane debate and oil change intervals and we can go all in on this one. LOL

That is OBVIOUSLY really bad CGI because the DSG is better/faster/stronger/cooler; just like Mega Shark is OBVIOUSLY better than Crocosaurus:
