Need rotors and pads up front. Not paying the dealer their crazy number and I was about to buy from genuineaudiparts but then read some posts about ECS genuine parts. I can literally get the pair of rotors up front for less than I can buy just one from genuineaudiparts.

genuineaudiparts:
http://genuineaudiparts.com/parts/2013/Audi/S4/index.cfm?action=partDetail&section=BRAKES&group=BRAKE%20COMPONENTS&subgroup=FRONT%20BRAKES&component=ROTOR&partnumber=4G0615301&vehicleid=405406&siteid=214407

ECS:
http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/ES2070627/ES2070627/

They both say genuine. The part number on genuineaudiparts matches what I find on Audi's parts site but the ECS part does not match. Doesn't mean it doesn't fit or that it isn't genuine, just that it isn't a perfect match.

Anyone know more about this stuff than me that can give some advice? Obviously I'd like to pay the ECS price but I'm trying to stick with true Audi parts for now.

Call ECS but everything I've ever ordered from ECS is exact replacement.

Genuine Audi doesn't offer rotors in a pair you have to purchase them individually as left and right. We just pair them together using OEM part number 8K0615301M qty of 2 and offer it in a kit.

Thanks. What is the difference between the OEM part you use, 8K0615301M, and the OEM part that Genuine Audi and the Audi Parts website list for the '13 S4: 4G0615301?

ECS is one of the only places I trust to order parts from. Very good shipping and customer service.

There is no difference. That part number is one we created specifically for the kit which includes 2 Genuine Audi S4 rotors.

There is also a supersession - order style rotors had straight internal vanes and the newer style (8K0615301M) have curved internal vanes.
