I am looking for any feedback on the JHM stage 4 clutch and flywheel from anyone who regularly tracks their S4. My clutch finally bit the bullet at VIR, and I am looking for a track worthy replacement. I have narrowed it down to this clutch and flywheel. I am hoping that this package will work as a livable daily driver and still survive on the track. Thanks

You should get some reviews, we have sold a ton of kits [up]. We beat the crap out of them at the drag strip in our S5.

Too bad westwest is not on here, last time I talked with him he was enjoying his JHM setup, and has quite a few track days now on it.

I did not see a purpose for the Stage 4 clutch after reviewing the potential torque these motors can put out without changing internals or running meth and an aggressive tune. That being said - I did not purchase JHM because of a bonus Eurocode offered me. However, I thought I would have received my clutch now. I ordered over a week ago and they charged my card at the time of the order. I called them back a few days later and they informed me it would be another week and a half before they got any clutches in because they did not have any in stock. Had I known this, I would not have saved myself the cash on EuroCode extra perk or not. I will say the EuroCode clutch supposedly has identical pedal feel to stock.
I have spoken with both companies and taken up a lot of people's time. JHM has excellent customer service and the first time I got off the phone with one of them I was sold - but EuroCode gave me a call back afterwards and swayed my mind.
I would look more at your needs before jumping to stage 4 but as far as vendor goes, I have heard no complains about JHM - only good things from the end users.

You are right about the engine torque capacity for the different clutch and flywheel packages. However, this is my backup track car and runs on a set of 275/35 X 18 Toyo Proxes RR. This tire is so sticky and large, that it puts a big strain on the clutch under track conditions.

what wheels are you running when you run these tires out of curiosity? I far exceeded the limits of my wheels when I went to the track, I tried different tire pressure levels as well. I was using 245/40R-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - they had about 800 miles on them at the time.

I run TSW Interlagos 18X9 1/2 wheels on studded hubs. This is the Mercedes fitment, which has the same 5 X 112 bolt pattern and a 53 mm offset. This allows me to adjust my offsets with spacers. I run a 43mm offset (10mm spacer) in front and a 45 mm offset (8mm spacer) in the rear. I run the same size BF Goodrich Rival tires on another set of the same wheels for the street. The Toyo Proxes RR is a R compound tire and not suitable for the street. They need to be heated up and have no grip in the rain. There are just 2 circumferential groves in the tire to make them DOT compliant. They also wear very quickly.
