So after installing the 034 trans mount I started feeling a vibration in my seat and if I had anything like a book of paper in the passenger seat I could visually see it vibrating as I drive. I thought maybe I was getting more feedback from a bent wheel or a few bent wheels (bad winter this year) but yesterday I put on my brand new summer wheels and my Michelin Pilot SS that are still basically new 90% tread left. The vibration seems a little more pronounced but its STILL THERE. Im wondering if its the 034 mount or the Apikol rear or a combination of both that is causing this. My exhaust is not hitting the car anywhere and it feels almost like an unbalanced or bent wheel but I have already ruled that out.

Anyone have any suggestions? As I type this now I wonder if the apikol rear diff mount is coming loose possibly? I feel like the vibration is flowing from the rear of the car.

Could be they're tightened too much, did you torque or just turn til you thought it was tight enough?

Tightened until tight and a quarter turn more. Overtightened can cause this vibration?

Keep in mind that the 034 ones ARE stiffer than stock and can give you a bit of NVH

Not like what he is describing. I have both the 034 mount and the stiffest Apikol bushing and I do not feel what he is describing.

I get what you are describing exactly. And I do not have either mount. At first I thought it was the rims, but after I switched like you did, it was still there.

Could it be a broken engine mount?

My engine mounts are new, replaced by audi only a few months ago.

Like a misfire? Like the engine stumbles?

Have you tried removing it and see it if continues?
