Has anyone ever encountered the rear seat making excess noise? I have made sure the seats are secure and tight. Cant seem to locate the exact location of the noise.

Do you have car seats in the back?

Just boosters, even with them removed and any vibration from the road makes the noise worse. its almost like the plastic behind the armrest isn't fully secure or seated.

I hear the noise from the top car seat anchors behind the seats...occasionally the connection moves side to side and I hear a metallic sound, and occasionally the anchor cover will hit for a different sound.

From what you're explaining, the sound is coming from a different area.

I will try and get a video of the noise and post it shortly.

I have the EXACT Squeak & Rattle!

When I drive around w/ the seats down the noise is eliminated. If you look at where the seats connect to, you'll see it worn down or the finish coming off.

Going to try the dealership first to see if they have a remedy for it. If not, I'm thinking about getting foam tape/felt and wrapping it around the hooks the seats hold onto.

Yes, same here and it drives me nuts. Putting them down and slamming them back up fixes it for me. Until next time...

The plastic that comes down between the trunk the the backseat in the middle behind the armrest used to make noise for me. I took it to audi and the service advisor looked at it, knocked on it and then went into a new S4 and did the same and saw it was much noisier. They replaced it. This must have been 3 years ago as the car is about 4 now.
