Posting this as a heads up

If any of you are paranoid about your car like me, this could be a great deal on one of the best dash cams available in my opinion:

Here are some reviews if you want to read about it

amazon this ----> Mobius ActionCam 1080p HD Camera With Dash Cam Kit
Works like a charm and very small!

Jamesj2k - There are several cheaper options, but I've been specifically looking for a camera that has a front and rear cam, and in my search the blackvue is far and away the best option. Thanks for posting a less expensive option for those that don't need all the features though!

I don't want something that detects my speed. What if I am in the wrong and they use my dash cam as evidence to see how fast I was going.

Committed for 299 if it makes it.

I have the 550 model and it's great, absolutely no complaints. The parking mode already caught a neighbor bump into my fender in the 4 months I've had it installed saving me a deductible. For that price the 650 is a no brainer.

coming from a 500 and with the mass drop price, 650 model (with 2 cams) is a steal. in for 25 commitment!

That's what I paid for my DR650 ($299) from http://www.blackboxmycar.com which included a FREE Power Magic Pro
They had a Black Friday sale.

Bought a 64 Gig micro SD on amazon for next to nothing for it....

Make sure you press "comit to buy for 299" it will only charge you if price makes it that low

Remove memory card and snap in half.

You can turn that off in the config on the BlackVue.

This drop ends tonight! It's a pretty good price for a nice dashcam, probably the best set of features out there right now.

This seems really interesting. I don't have the time/patience to watch the 25+ minute install video, but is it pretty easy? Easy = plug and play; difficult = pulling the car apart and splicing wires.

if you have ever hard wired a radar detector into a fuse panel, its similar to that. It shouldn't require pulling anything apart. tuck a few wires, use an add a fuse or two, pretty straight forward.

Thanks for the info. Nope, never installed a radar detector.

I tried to fix an already broken laptop and it was still dead after my repair; my wife brings that up and tells me to call a professional, no matter how many other things I successfully fix.

Yeah installed myself. VERY easy... nothing to it... I love it. Set it and forget it basically... Love being able to see front and back at same time. I did disable the parking mode as it was draining my battery too much. The car is in the garage 99% of the time so it's a pretty low risk...

Remove memory card and snap in half.

You can turn off the speed display. But even with that off they can calculate your speed other ways if they really wanted to.

You can disable the speed feature so it won't be on the video on playback.

650 has great front cam with the sony sensor I just don't like the quality of the rear cam at 720p it's pretty crappy. Also parking mode is choppy at 15fps.

This is a very old thread. Still I really need a dash cam for front and rear view. I travel alot and it would be very nice to capture some good moments and sights on the road. I have read alot of reviews at https://dashcamcar.com/ , but I am still not sure which product to pick.

I purchased this one and have been very happy with it. Easy to set up and good video quality.

I recently installed the Vantrue N2 Pro and have no complaints. I could see people complaining about the size though. I have it mounted right under my rearview mirror.
