Can someone tell me what the torque spec is for the brake pad carrier and caliper bolts? On that note, are there any factory service manuals available for the S4. I've always had them for my previous cars but with warranty and Audi care I have touched this car yet and haven't looked around yet.

Thanks,
Mike

Nada?

I've got the S5 manual/specs at home - could get you that tonight if needed.

You can subscribe to erwin for one day for like $35 and have access to all of the technical info on your car, TSB's, manuals, etc... You can download everything as PDFs. That's as close to a factory service manual as I've seen.

its called tight. Use your common sense is all. Its not hard to do. If your capable to change brake pads yourself I'm sure you can figure out the German tq method lol. But Just use your common sense and previous knowledge its not hard. I work on cars for a living and they only thing I tq are internal engine components internal trans and diff parts as well. Thats it. I don't tq anything else. No reason to. I just use common sense and I'm good. Ive never had anything come back for being loose.

I was kind of hoping for something other than guten tight. That's what torque wrenches are for. Think I'll check out Erwin. $35 to download manuals would be OK with me.
