Hi guys
ok I recently got an OEM compatible Reverse camera.
Everything installed great, And worked first go.
Audi A4 2011 B8 2.0T Q
Basically all plug and play bar a couple VCDS settings.
worked for an hour or so while messing about with car.
next morning went to drive off, wouldn't work.
I used a test monitor and sent a signal out to the screen, that worked
so i could see cable to car was working car was accepting the image.
coding was telling me the reverse camera is now missing.
so i assumed the little black box that has the can data in it died.
They sent me brand new camera and box thing. Replaced them still nothing
so now i am at a loss.
I checked everything. Unprogramed and re programmed system
check plugs. I have no idea what it could be.
Being the lack of english and technical understanding makes it very hard to explain
to the supplier what my issue is. As they just keep blaming my VCDS programming.
but if i put car into reverse mode (button on dash) it changes screen state, parking sensors come up
but i get a black screen. If i use a image generator. I get an image on the screen up front.
So i can't imagine all the components they sent me are faulty. so i need some ideas of what to do .
