New 2015, 20x10 +40 TSW Bathurst in Gloss Gunmetal. Wrapped in the usual 255/30/20. Thanks to Jason @ GetYourWheels.com for hooking a brother up!

Also, oCarbon's Red Reflections Carbon Fiber to boot!

I'll get some better pics up when the weather is much nicer, but for now. Enjoy.

Awesome. I've had my eyes on those wheels (although in 19x9.5 and bright silver) since TSW announced them last year. I think they look pretty darn good on your S4. I wonder if they would look nearly as good in 19".

AudiS4TW - That looks really good even in 19's! I like that fact that you have more cushion. I didn't want to go this stretch, but it achieved the look I was going for.

Thanks guys! I'm really happy with the new look. It'll be a matter of time before I get bored, and Ghost Chrome them like my Nurburgrings. ha!

Looks great man, love how it came out! And 255 isn't too much of a stretch on a 10" either, you can still drive it like its meant to be driven, perfect for daily driving.

Now lower it [>_<]

not enough tire for me, usually 255 looks a bit more meaty - what type of tires?

I much prefer AudiS4TF's set-up

Yeah, I had to get 265 because I'm going for greater surface area with the contact patch. These are going to get abused on the track this Sunday. I like the stance on your 20s!

I've got the same wheels, 19x9.5 with 255 PSS. I'm fairly low on coilovers and have no rubbing. They have a surprising amount of concavity and are lightweight. They also clear the brakes front and rear without spacers, which was a concern before they were released.

Initially there were some rubbing in the rear because my coilovers were set lower for the 255/35-19 Michelin PSS and FF01 (DD set). This only happens when you run on bumps on the road. I'm going to make adjustments tomorrow with ride height and the fender liner.

Here's the concave shot:

http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/26/cf5541bc265767f321f5e0dd8af58c08.jpg

The weight is actually lighter than what TSW advertises for the 19x9.5

If I decide to DD mine, I'll put on the 255/35-19 tires. I didn't want the stretch for the track. If you go for BBK, a 3mm spacer would be required to clear the caliper.

hood looks like it needs some adjustment, there are rubber little things attacked on the under side that will raise the fender to hood height.

I don't see them on the getyourwheels site.

The concavity of these wheels are both impressive and my favorite part about them. You just can't see the amount of depth in the pictures as much as in real life. It's pretty spectacular.

You'll have to call Jason at GetYourWheels. Over the phone is much better than via email, pm, or online.

@AudiS4TW - weird question, but did you feel any change in your steering weight (i.e. lighter) when you installed these wheels, considering that they are lighter weight than the OEM wheels? I'm not sure whether this is founded in reality but I'm concerned that putting a set of lightweight wheels will make the steering on my B8.5 feel lighter than it already unfortunately does. But ideally I would like to get a set of these in the mirror cut face silver finish in 19x9.5 to replace my AG M510.

I had oCarbon's regular MMI and Vent CF surround and I sold it with the intentions of getting them made in this Red Reflections also. After I installed all the other pieces, I think the Red MMI and Vent would be way too much. I'm taking the OEM MMI and Vent surround that I have and painting it as close to Piano black as possible. That should complete the look at that point.

My initial feedback is the steering input feels lighter. That is, I believe it's gotten more responsive.. Part of this may be due to the type of tires as well.

I'll provide a better assessment next week after I go to the track this Sunday.

Odd question , what offset would you need to really make those wheels to have a concave look? 38 offset seems too straight .
Also what is the widest size tires can be fun without rolling/pulling fenders ?

Just ordered up a pair in 19x9.5 39et. Silver with mirror cut face. Should be here at the end of the week.

My buddy ordered from TSW. They stated they have sold 5 sets in one week. This happened right after someone posted the wheels on their FB page.

Apparently I got the last set!? I am sure other suppliers may have them in stock, but I got lucky here. Both on price... And getting the last set.

TSW just had to make it clear this is an aggressive fitment. They won't take returns so it just needed to be documented we were informed. No problem clearing brakes or suspension. Concern is rubbing the fender. We shall see.

Please post photos as soon as possible - I'm very close to getting this color and fitment but want to see something other than the advert photos first.
Regarding fitment, I don't think you will have any problem. I run 19x9.5 +40 with Michelin PSS 255/35 and only encountered rubbing when with 5mm spacers on the rears, so +35 net offset. And even with that it was only on the passenger side. At 1mm farther out than my rub-free +40 setup, I highly doubt you will encounter any rubbing.

EDIT: This is what 19x9.5 +40 front, +35 rear looks like with Mich PSS 255/35, lowered on H&R OE springs. With this setup the rear passenger side rubbed only on moderate to severe bumps/dips in the road, no rubbing anywhere else. So your wheels will be 1mm farther out than the fronts in this photo, but 4mm farther inboard than the rears. I don't foresee any problems.

255/35 Micheline PSSs.

From what I can see, others are running this setup without issue. Will I rub? Maybe. I suspect however it will be the fender liner. If not, a little negative camber never hurt anyone. :)

The little that rubbed when I was at +35 was definitely the fender liner. Only slight marking rubbed onto the tire. Nothing to be really concerned with, but of course I did not like the rubbing sound so I ultimately took my spacers out.

I hear ya about the rubbing noise. I don't have any issue modifying the fender liner to prevent this. So, we will see.

I'm definitely excited to see the end result. I think the bright silver will look awesome on Ibis. Trying to convince myself it will look great on Daytona Gray as well. Post plenty of pictures from various angles so I can steal the wheels for some photoshop action : )

I will be more than happy to do that for ya!

Personally both finishes would look good on Daytona. So, you have a hard decision in front of you. I am still amazed at the weight of these wheels!

Wow. I AM lucky. I guess after the wheel was posted on their FB page. Orders blew up. I was expecting to get the wheels on tomorrow but I got a call late yesterday letting me know they were in. Ordered on Monday. Came in on Thursday.

It really is hard to tell how good these look in person. When they were pulled from the box I was just memorized. The mirror cut face and silver paint just nails the mirrors and trim on the car. Like they were made for it.

And the concavity. Wow. I am going to try to talk my wife into taking some better pics for me when she can. She is a pro/am. So we shall see.

They are a kind of plastic. Almost like a fiberglass material - not brittle plastic.

@ evil_O - what are your impressions so far on the Bathurst paint surface vs. brake dust? Specifically, does the dust wash off as easily as it does from the stock silver peelers, or is it more tenacious to the paint?
More specifically, what I'm getting at is that when I ran the stock peelers I used the Armor All wheel protectant spray and it did a very good job of keeping brake dust from building on the wheels. I could go probably 2 weeks with OEM pads through dry and wet driving conditions before seeing significant brake dust buildup. Meanwhile when I use the same product on my AG M510's it doesn't seem to help at all, likely due to the matte (and relatively porous) finish of the AG M510's versus the glossy OEM finish of the peelers.

So far so good. The wheels do seem to shed the dust... About the same as stock? Maybe a bit more due to the mirror cut face. The paint isn't a matte finish so imagine that helps too. They still collect dust but I am pretty positive Armor All Wheel Protectant will work well. I have used it in the past and plan on using it with these wheels.

I'm on 20x10 on a major drop and I have no rubbing on 255/30/20's. All depends on your offset. If you get the right offset, you'll be good. Then again your drop is minimal as well, so should be good either way.

Nope, no rubbing on 255/30/20 tires! If you plan on slamming or going pretty low, just make sure its not a Michelin since they run wide. A Pirelli/Hankook/Falken will not have any rubbing issues!
20x9s Bathurst are semi-concave, and the 20x10 are deep concave

On the B8 S4 you'll want to run the 255/30/20 for the best fit, 255/35/20 is taller and will rub on a lowered S4.
255/35/20 is only used on the larger A7/A6s.

What offset? At +40 Should be ok at OEM height, with a drop ts going to be tight, theres a chance it may rub with oem camber settings. 255 is about the widest for guaranteed no rubbing with a drop.

Unfortunately 20x10 +25 most likely will not clear the RS4 brakes.

For instance 20x10 M590s we need a +18 in front to clear the brake. So a spacer may be needed in front the clear the Bathurst. But I'd have to measure it to know for sure

I received my 19x9.5 ET39 TSW Bathurst yesterday and they fit well. The only thing I would have perhaps done differently is chosen the 19.8.5 ET35 wheel as it would stick out less in the front. I dont like wheels that stick out a bit. I am very pleased with the quality of the wheel and the service from getyourwheels.com though.

One thing I really appreciate is when a company under promises and over delivers. Jason quoted me the TSW Bathurst as weighing around 22lbs. I was pleased with that particularly since it was a 9.5" wide wheel.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this...

Deckdout2- first off, I'm building my S4 to mirror yours. Looks SOOOO great. Great work. Question, your previous TSw's were 20x9 on the same tires correct? What made you make the jump to a 10" wide wheel? I'm wondering how different the look would be for a 20x9 in this same setup (H&R Sports and 255/30's if the cars were side by side. Just slightly less concave and less wheel exposure/stretch? Do you have any regrets in the slightest not going with a 9" or 9.5" after driving these for a while? I drive my car a lot. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!!!

I can tell you that going 20x9 isn't going to be what you want.
There is barely any concave at this size.
The stretch isn't bad at all and actually it's barely noticeable.
He may chime in more but I say if you got the funds to get the same wheels/tires do it. You won't be disappointed

The TSW Nurburgrings didn't offer a 10" at the time I got them. They were the perfect stance for that type of face wheel. The concave/dip is in the center of those wheels. When I decided to switch over to the Bathursts, after seeing all the stances from others going to a 10" wheel, I knew that was for me. The idea was to get the best stance I could without sacrificing ride and fender wear. With the help of Jason at GetYourWheels, we were able to come up with the best solution with size and offset considered. If I were to do it again, I would have started with a 10" width. It's all in your offset, and ride height that makes a difference and will give you the stance you're looking for.

I do rub slightly as mentioned in previous posts above over hugh dips on the highway (elevation change), and if I have passengers in the rear sometimes, but not all the time. Otherwise, it's rare that I rub. I haven't pulled any fenders, or shaved any nubs, or the like. Hope that helps.

I don't have any pictures of inner wheel wells or the like. Again, I didn't have to roll any fenders and such. I'm also dropped on H&R Supersports which is pretty low without having coilovers.

Here's some pics from my photoshoot from my build thread in case it was missed.......that and I like pic whoring. [:D]

I've had many requests to see the 19x9.5 Bathursts installed on stock suspension, I finally have some great photos to share!

The wheels are 5x112, and I believe a 72mm CB. But we provide hub rings for free with all our orders that require it!

Jason,

I'm really interested in the TSW Bathurst and was interested in your thoughts if the 19x9.5 et 39 with a 1" - 1.25" drop would work running on Michelin PSS 255/35/19? I'm suspecting it is not rub-free because other's have suggested 19x9.5 at et 40->42 and the PSS run square. What are your thoughts?

The Bathurst 19x9.5 +39 will fit perfectly fine with the 255/35/19 PSS, no rubbing!
+39 is only 1 mm from a +40 so it'll also fit with no issues
I'll send you a PM! with more info!

I have this setup and am getting lowered on H&R oe this week. I'll post up some pics after the install.

Looks great! How's the ride quality? I'm curious what do you mean H&R oe and Bilstein? You're running both in this setup?

Another question I have is there concern with doing a few track days on a 19 x 9.5 with 255/35/19 Michelin PSSs? The stretch doesn't look bad but there is a little. I'm mostly curious if there's any issue with tracking a car when the tire isn't square, say a 255 width on a 19x9 looks pretty square to me.

Thanks!! Ride quality is really good, better than I expected. I am on H&R OE springs with Bilstein sport shocks/struts. It's tight but not harsh at all. It's a tad busier on the highway you feel the undulations more but then you hit a bump/expansion crack and it's better than stock. Very smooth. I was expecting it to ride really harsh but it's not the case at all.

I can't answer the question on tracking as I don't track it and I'd be curious to know if a bit of stretch is ok.

We helped Blacklist Builds get set up with a set of Bathursts in Gunmteal for his sweet S4 on air suspension!

I think it made quite a big difference, but judge for yourselves!

All of you that mounted up your TSW Baturst's, did you need to use hub centric rings or not?

I just got mine installed today and my installer said that I didn't need any. I did have some that I purchased from ESC tuning, but they mounted up just perfect and I don't have any vibrations, super smooth. The set that I ordered was 19x8.5 set et43 with Mich PSS's.

I also use mine. Makes the wheels easier to install because they line up on the hub before torquing down the lug bolts.
