Hey. Im just curious as to what others are getting for MPG. The car says Im averaging 24.3 and I did the math and Im figuring around 25 or less as well. I wanna know what others are getting and things I could do to increase my MPG if this is low for my car?

i get between 320 - 350miles per tank, so / 16 gal = about 20-21mpg for me. 103k
As tracked manually,
Highway: 27-30 mpg
City: 17-18 mpg after tune (LOL), 20-21 before
..currently getting caught up on maintenance to try and improve my city mileage.

I average between 17-18
But I also only drive in the city and am in boost constantly

I don't do much city driving. Mostly a 80 mile daily commute to and from work.

I average around 23-25 mpg, but this is with my P2177 code and driving super conservatively and never really going over 40mph..

Here is all my fuel data
http://www.fuelly.com/car/audi/a4_quattro/2006/2kwik4u/85750
Check the notes for reported info from the trip computer; reported mpg, reported drive time, and reported average mph
Lots of good data there if you want it.

pretty solid 25mpg, I can get 28 or so if I make all the stop lights on my 18 mile commute.

Same here. lol. Green lights mean better mpg for that day.

I've got a 150 mile round trip for my daily commute, and average about 27-28 mpg (manually calculated). That includes a fair bit of traffic, and about 50 miles per tank of city-type driving. Highway speeds for me are a little higher than the average driver, probably even higher than the average B7'er too.

god forbid they fucking sequence the lights around here. Miss one, miss every.single.one the rest of the way. It's infuriating.

I'm in the 21-23 mpg overall city/suburb driving, so 325-360 miles per tank (on 16gallons). Haven't done much highway driving yet, but from what highway driving I have done, I saw 28-29 mpg

20-22 mpg overall manually calcualted with my 3.2L Spring-Fall. 19-20 mpg in Winter. My trip computer calculates 10-15% high consistently. 30 mile round trip commute daily; most of it on the hwy.

Yes lol. I know if Im coming up to a light and it turns yellow to get through it or Ill be stopping at the rest. Lol
I get roughy. 400 miles to a tank. Cars still fully stock. Again I baby the hell out of it.

Biggest benefit for me was to set the cruise at 65mph instead of 70-80. Listen to an extra song on the way home and my mileage jumped from 21-22 to 25-26. I still rarely get more than 350 miles per tank, even when I baby it and have the cruise set low. 100% freeway will get me there, but just barely.

Guess Im doing a lot better than I thought. I almost always get 400+ to a tank. Unless Im screwing around a lot like I did in the winter months.

I've been recording my fuel economy for the last two years on Fuelly. (http://www.fuelly.com/car/audi/a4_quattro/2007/kaz07a4/186225)
Average is 27, max was 32.6 on a long highway trip. Overall, for a stage 1, AWD, heavy-ish sedan, I'm pretty happy with it!

I'm getting terrible mpg with my new 08 2.0t w/66k. I got 15mpg overall out of last few tanks. Only mods are intake and exhaust. My daily commute is 1.5 miles round trip and 95% of my driving is short trips around town. I know this type of usage will yield lower MPG, but I would think it should be more the 18-20mpg range.
I've replaced the thermostat (was bad), temp sensor, DV, and spark plugs. Also cleaned my air filter and MAF. NO CODES.
Not sure what to do next? Fuel filter? PVC?
Any ideas?

Short trips and a cold engine the whole time will kill your milage. 1.5 miles is not enough to get the car warmed up.

Honestly think I'm getting sub 10

Ya, i agree with you. I normally try to let the car warm up some, especially with how cold it's been.
Only plus side to living so close is I still only fill-up every 2 1/2 weeks. Once it gets a little warmer, I'll walk to work a few days a week.

well this thread makes me feel a bit better. I'm at 154K on the 2.0T and get about 23MPG combined I think. However I do climb a few thousand feet of elevation almost every day while driving and put on around 1300miles a month so I figured that, plus my right foot meant I was in for worse then average MPGs in the avant but I seem to get similar to everyone here.

Well I average-28mpg: usually 23-24mpg around city; up to 32.8 highway-- But I drive very easy when this occurs ( I have 6-speed 2.0T REVO program) : On hwy, maybe 55-60 mph. When I drive very aggressively, I get 23-25 mpg's hwy. With tune turned on, 96-Octane, aggressive driving I may get around 18-20 mpg's.
