it's on the drivers (left) side of the engine, down on the block towards the rear... found it..well, found it was missing when I changed my oil today...Thanks for any help! (heres an album, because the photos kept coming up as huge.)

Nothing goes there, Some cars come with a transmission plug, but most cars come without it. Its perfectly fine to leave it as is.
I believe what that hole is intended for is some sort of speed sensor, but since our crankshaft has one, that hole is redundant.

Speed sensor/RPM sensor port and the other is the purge valve.
