I really like the look of RS4 grilles, and was considering buying one for my B8.5 Misano S4.

Then the other day I saw an RS4 style grille on another 8.5 A4 and was very surprised at how much the Audi rings stuck out on the front...

I saw the car in a car park, so I have no idea where the grill came from, but it really did not look good. I think the hex spacing was too large, the shine of the grill seemed off, and the massively protruding Audi rings just looked awful (to me).

Now that I am looking more closely at RS4-style grilles, I am noticing that many have the same issue...

Are there any RS4-style grilles are designed to accurately replicate the OEM grille? - With the rings virtually flush with the mesh.

If not - Does anyone know if the European OEM RS4 grille fits the S4?

Thanks,

There's a guy on here who made a jc sportline grill look pretty close to OEM. He's somewhere in ct but I couldn't find the thread, maybe someone else can chime in with the link?

Just an FYI, some people on here get annoyed when the same thread and questions are posted. There are multiple threads on here regarding front grilles. You just have to look [:d] I personally don't care though. Here is the link that UberBrute is referring to.

S4eve did a fantastic job with his!

In general, it seems like the most popular and best quality RS-style mesh front grilles are ECS and JC Sportsline. Me personally, I am trying to decide between matte silver and gloss black!
