Available Options in addition to 91/93 octane performance modes:

* Valet: Zero boost & lazy throttle response make the car more of a burden than a joy to drive.
* Kill (not available on TSI models): Security mode that keeps the engine from being started with Kill mode activated.

You would need to flash back to stock for dealer visits. The switcher will not suffice for that.

You would need to flash back to stock for dealer visits. The switcher will not suffice for that.

When you have a GIAC dealer flash your car back to stock (a true flash, not using the switching tool), does it flash back the OEM file that was on the car originally before the GIAC flash was installed, or does it flash a "like OEM" file to the car?

It's a great time to be an S4 owner. GIAC is offering discounts and APR is updating their stage 1 and stage 2 software as well as launching their long awaited DSG tune. I've owned both GIAC and APR tunes - both awesome but a little competiion is welcome. Maybe we will see a gradual decrease in prices for these great tunes.[:)]
