Hello All,

I have been wanting an S4 for about 6 months now and I finally bit the bullet and got one. I pick it up in a week, after the test drive i'm hooked. I have been reading this site and have a good feel for the S4 now. Thanks to AZ and it's members for helping me decide on what I should get included with the car. I'm coming from a tuned 09WRX which was quite fast and couldn't downgrade on power but wanted to upgrade my vehicle. I have read a ton on here and other various sites but still have some questions of course so thanks in advance

I got a CPO 14 GWM, DSG, Black Optic, B&O, SD, carbon inlays and Audi Care. It has 7100 miles on it. I will post some pics when I pick it up. I got it for $46,800, the sticker was in the glove box and listed for $58,000 new. This car had pretty much everything I wanted so I went for it because in my area S4's are very rare unless new and I wasn't going that route.

I have been searching some sites for parts and accesories. What are the top few sites to get parts and accesories from? I am going to get a VagCom cable and will be attempting that soon too so I might have a few questions when that comes in.

*edit-got some pics while picking it up today

welcome to the club!

ECS tuning is a great resource, and there are many others, just use the search function up in the corner and there should be hundreds of threads pertaining to your specific interests.

I have read almost every thread pertaining to my interest and am well aware of the search feature. I no noob to forums but some of these threads get so long and off track it's tough to find what you want sometimes. Thanks for the welcome and the heads up. After 65 views I was wondering if I was going to get a welcome. I have checked out ECS and Europa but was wondering if there were anymore good ones. Coming from the Subaru community there are so many sites and so much info out there and the Audi scene is a little bleak.

Congrats! Sounds like you got a good deal on your S4.

ECS and Europa are the big ones. Got my VAGCOM from Europa, and there is a recent thread about a new mobile app, Carista, that can do the basics of what the VAGCOM can do. It's cheap, I went for it.

Eurocode Tuning sells a set of sway bars, end links, and their Alu Kreuz which makes the S4 handle amazingly. They're on sale through the end of the month.

I also just bought a used '12 S4, black 6spd about 2 months ago. I had a tuned '11 Sti and needed to get something a little quieter so my compromise was the S4. I love the car, haven't seen any real issues, previous owner seemed to have all maintenance done at the dealer.

I bought and installed the RS4 honeycomb grille about a month ago from ECS Tuning, it arrived in like 2 days! Wasn't much trouble removing the bumper, and the grille fit great. Only problem was the pegs on the factory emblem are pretty cheap and when I tried snapping it on the new grille they broke off. I had to get another emblem and it worked fine.

Got some pics put up in the first post. Getting rid of the badges when it heats up around here in a few days. Going to hardwire the V1, install trans mount, install P3 gauge also. Window tint coming soon.
