As you all know the spacers make the car / stance look soooo much better and the strips made a huge improvement as well. They arnt as easy as advertized to installl btw.. had to run a heat gun over it for awhile and they kept rippling as I was trying to get the water all squeezed out. Heres a couple before and after pics.. (cars filthy, ill post a couple more when shes clean).

Does the install recommend using a heat gun or was that just because your car happened to be wet? I had to buy these because of wonderful MA and their front plate requirements..now I have 4 drilled holes to cover up. Looks great though

yea same here in NJ. If you see in the before pic I had to fill in the holes the dealership drilled and sanded it down then put the strips on. no there really wasnt any instructions just a youtube video which they didnt use a heat gun. you need to spray the grill with soap water and it took forever to dry up and wasnt fully flush so i decided to use the heat gun to dry the water faster. i didnt want them blowing off either since i needed to drive back home.

Oh ok, I looked at it too fast. What did you fill them with? Glad you mentioned that because I only sanded them and didn't plan on anything else..I tend to mess things up once before doing anything right.

yea you def want to fill them. i just used a hot glue gun and filled them and sanded after. you can see Everything through the vinyl so make sure you clean and sand everything smooth. even after i was done i was still able to see a little where the holes where and even rock dings. its very minor tho..
I do want to plasti dip the top part of the grill. like if you stand over it looking down how its still gray.

Looks good. I did similar with Trimbrite black out tape. Strips are exactly the right width, but do require a little trimming at the ends. I always wonder why guys choose the matte black strips over the gloss black. It seems to me that the gloss black would be a better match with the rest of the grille. If you look at the after pictures, the center area with the vinyl strips still looks gray in comparison to the other parts of the grille. I think gloss black would look better. Either way, a huge improvement over stock. Not expensive, not hard to do. IMHO, a much better look than the rs4 style grille.

Def agree, wayy better than the RS4 mesh grills.. I like the matte better because it matches the rest of the grill.. im trying to make each section look the same rather then having gloss to match the rest of the bumper vs grill. my strips were just right thankfully..
