Looking at doing a test pipe with a full exhaust and tuning the car. What would you guys recommend. Iv been looking at apr and unitronics for the tune. For the exhaust Iv been looking at borla and milltek. As for the test pipe I have no idea. Any recommendations will be appreciated

K0mpressed with get you an 18psi tune, all are very similar if you are just running the stock k03 turbo.

As for exhaust go full custom if you have a shop around, I tell this to everyone, custom is easily the best. If you don't have a shop I can't help you there as I've always gone custome.

42 Draft Designs is the best. 3" turbo-back!

Completely unnecessary with a k03 though

welcome aboard OP[race] what are your future plans with the car? if you plan on staying k03, i would just pass on the exhaust and just do a tune and cat delete(ebay has these for cheap).

PM K0mpressed for a tune. same shit, possibly even better as all the big name brand companies for half the cost.

i also vote custom exhaust or pick up used one off the classifieds on vortex

Will I have to find a shop that specializes in custom exhaust?

King_Life, I assume the tune you're selling is for an AEB. OP didn't specify it in this thread, but he's got an ATW.

I don't care about turbos. The 42DD sounds like sex.

a lot of ppl, including myself. I like quiet exhaust systems. theres notbing better than a quiet turbo car where all you can hear is turbo sound

statements like this is why these boards are taking a downwards spiral.

I get what your saying with the quite exhaust. What I'm looking for is something that is quite frees up the turbo but still has a nice little growl to it when I stomp on it.

i love my test pipe with magnaflow.
Its quiet in the cabin but decently loud outside and sounds great with my larger turbo.
It has a nice deep tone to it. Doesnt sound rice at all. Even my american v8 friends like the way it sounds.

Quiet, pfff. Mines quiet at some cruising speeds but full out or engine braking good luck having a conservation inside the car. I love it.

Idk. It makes no difference.
I think mine is an ecs one. I bought it used with a wideband bung welded in.
