Im looking to get a deeper growl from my exhaust, but i can't afford a full catback at the moment, so i'm looking into getting just the muffler. Anyone have one they want to brag about? thanks for the help

for 250, get the Remus Dual Exhaust...I think d2a4 is still selling them. I have it on my car - good upgrade. And its Remus !

What do you mean DTM tips?[confused] And you gotta pay to play. Personally, I think magnaflow doesn't belong on an Audi. I wouldn't even put magnaflow on my moms honda.

Borla does not have DTM tips. Search for the exhaust answer, it's been very much discussed.

I have a Magnaflow #14833

The rounded square tips look awesome on my Avant, and the sound is louder and deeper than stock but not obnoxiously loud.

Save your money and when you get enough, buy a complete cat back. You will get better flow and sound and then you won't have to sell a "used muffler". Borlas are great, I have one. I think the muffler alone may come with DTM tips, but the whole catback system is like $500 and worth it.

^^ where can u get a full catback for 500? cheapest ive seen is like 700. The thing is...i dont ever really plan on getting an exhaust. Im a guitar player and my moneys invested in that more than the car, so i just plan on getting it chipped and lowered. So muffler wise, majority says magnaflow isnt good? ive heard good reviews for magnaflow elsewhere.

ya you're right. I thought they were cheaper. When bought my Borla it was from AWe tuning like 3 years ago and I thinkit was 460 for the full Cat-back when they were on clearance. Now they are like 650 - 700 and a new style with rolled edge tips.

magnaflow's sounds good. it's not ricey and it's deep. do a search a few people put up a sound clip of their setup.

Just wait and get a used full system. Or just buy some shiney tips if you want to save money.

toucan products are the best!!! no ricey sound because rice doesn't make noise only the water when it boils over and hits the stove... the ractive muffler makes wonderful noise!!! [up]

it looks like the borla muffer at performance center has tips that are bent upward, they may not be true DTM tips but they just dont come out straight
